Suburban Legend, aka “Juno” offered for keep or borrow-
Juno is a 6yr old 14.3h Connemara gelding that is ready for a gutsy rider of his own! Don’t let his size fool you, he’s built stocky and takes up your leg- I currently have a rider 5’8 that flats him from time to time without feeling like “pony squishing”.
Juno has a good change that needs finishing, a massive stride that walks the horse numbers with ease, and will take you into battle if you ask. This guy is trailer-ring, and jumps whatever you put infront of him from any distance at any angle.
Currently showing at .70, but ready for more. This guy will move up fast. Will definitely jump at least the .90/3’, and with the right continued education has potential for more.
He’s quick-quiet on the flat, but doesn’t make his rider sweat buckets for anything. To the jumps, he’ll set his cruise control and maintain the rhythm you ask for. Want to do the triple add? Sure thing. Horse number? You got it.
The best part, this guy can take a serious joke. He doesn’t take anything personally, and will never hold questionable decisions against you.
This guy is a competitor and lives to please. For a kid moving looking for her first horse, timid adult wanting something closer to the ground, or an amateur looking for a fun project to produce and sell down the road- Juno ticks all the boxes. Moves quite nice for a flat class, and has the most adorable jump. Can go in both rings, hunter or jumper.
Barefoot, easy keeper, gets along with every horse he meets. Hacks out on the trails, jumps the logs and hedges in our derby field, can live happily on someone’s private farm or a busy show barn.
