Every dog that walks through our doors becomes family, so any loss is hard, but it cuts a little deeper when it’s one of our own.

Today we celebrate the life of King Henry! Henry kept us all entertained with his ability to nap through anything, except when food was involved. Henry loved his treats and was sure to let the staff know it was dinner time by unleashing his mighty bay (howl).

No trash can was a match for Henry. Given the chance, he would tip any trash can and attempt to eat all the contents.

Amy did an amazing job taking Henry from an Animal Control stray to being the absolute king of the castle!

Although our hearts are broken; we are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to know and love Henry. Thank you, Amy, for sharing him with us; his spirit will live with us forever! 💔

Kitten season is upon us. We are currently assisting in the care of kittens born under a shed. If you or someone you know is interested in expanding your family, please notify us. The kittens are a mix of female calico and orange/white tabby cats.
