Today we're asking for a little extra love for two very special seniors in our care.

👑 **Quinn** – 14 years old and currently receiving hospice care. Quinn isn't just a rescue dog—she's my daughter's best friend. The bond between them is something truly special. My daughter helps care for her every day, making sure she's comfortable, loved, and never alone. Our goal is simple: to make every day Quinn has left as peaceful, happy, and full of love as possible.

🐾 **Marley** – 11 years old and bravely fighting cancer. Despite his diagnosis, Marley continues to show us what resilience looks like. He still enjoys life, affection, and the comfort of knowing he is safe and loved.

Senior dogs are often the most overlooked, yet they need us the most. Their medical care, medications, supplements, and special needs add up quickly, but they deserve comfort, dignity, and love through every stage of life.

First, I want to thank everyone for the prayers, patience, kindness, and understanding over the last few days as I stepped away briefly to handle a personal family emergency. Your support means more than you know, and I’m incredibly grateful for this community that continues to stand beside us through both the beautiful moments and the difficult ones.

Even during hard seasons, the mission continues — and because of all of you, Kahu Rescue keeps moving forward.

Han Solo has been a bottle baby since the beginning after being rejected by mom, and this tiny little guy has completely stolen my heart. At about 3 weeks old, his eyes are open, he’s curious about everything, and he is VERY opinionated 😂 His cries sound like a human newborn at this point 😂
The sleepless nights are real, but so is the blessing. Caring for the smallest and weakest ones is never easy, but it’s worth every second watching them grow stronger, feel safe, and learn what love is.
