Going on week three of this crap. The county inspector said that they should leave everything as it is until they pull the permits in order to get started on the repairs that need to happen to be up to code. They decided to come in anyway and start taking everything down. I was promised it would just look like they never did anything and I come in this morning to a shop filthy and not secure yet again. I am so over all of this.

The fire marshal stopped in today to put up another notice. He said that he only really deals with this in private property not commercial leased property. I still have yet to hear from the landlord about her insurance information so I have filed a claim with my business insurance. They were shocked to say the least, but happy to help while they track down her info, and try to get the contractors information as well. Right now we’re at about $25,000 in lost revenue, wages and property damages. I am working alongside our county officials, my insurance and a lawyer. I have documentation for everything that has occurred to include, texts, receipts, witness statements, and video footage. The one thing I do well is diligently documenting everything when I am being wronged. The worst thing anyone can do is underestimate me just because I’m young and a first time business owner. I am too nice most of the time but I am not stupid.

That feeling when you’re landlord doesn’t hire a licensed electrician and now has to rip everything out and redo it. So glad I had the foresight to call the county to redo our inspection. They are allowing us to operate, but we cannot utilize any of the outlets on those walls as they are a fire hazard. They did not get the proper permits in order to do this, so there was no inspections before they installed everything so now it has to be ripped out and redone.

Hey everyone 👋🏻We will all be up at the shop at 8 AM. I have been assured they will be done by 6 AM. Anybody that would like to come up to help us clean, you are more than welcome to come in anytime after 9AM. Hannah, our new Receptionist will be coming in at 10 AM to help start calling our clients to get everybody rescheduled. This will give Paige and I time to coordinate and make sure we know what days and times we are going add to the schedule in order to reschedule everyone efficiently. Please let us know if you’re dog can wait a little longer, that way the dogs that might be more overdue can get in sooner that would be very helpful. Also, if you don’t have to have specific days or time constraints we would love to know that as well. We have about 40ish dogs to work back in so we appreciate your patience. We are so very grateful for the continued support and we are very excited to get back to work and see your babies again!!! 

So this is where we’re at as of right now I’m at a complete loss for words so we will have to apparently close on Monday...

So this is where we’re at as of right now I’m at a complete loss for words so we will have to apparently close on Monday as well, but I will have my full team come in and if anybody wants to volunteer to come in and help us clean we will be going in when they tell us they’re done. They’re saying they’ll be done at 6 AM. I’m not holding my breath on that because I keep getting pushed back every day. It’s gonna take a while to deep clean everything because there’s drywall dust on the walls the ceiling, the floors all of our equipment needs to be power washed and deep cleaned to make sure it’s a sanitary environment for the dogs to come back into so as of right now, we will be opening up Tuesday if that changes I obviously will make another post but Monday at 8 AM if anybody wants to come up to help us clean, we will be cleaning pulling out the equipment into the parking lot power washing it doing everything we can to get everything sanitary again for the dogs. Thank you guys for all of the love and support. You’re keeping me sane in these dark moments.

Just want to update everybody with the upcoming storm. We are going to be closed on Sunday. Saturday I will be here alone in case the weather is decent enough for my Saturday dogs to still come in. I won’t be able to do walkins this weekend. The next couple weeks will be a little hectic as we work in the rescheduled appointments. Please bare with us as we are also training our new receptionist as well. Stay safe everyone 💜💜

This picture shows only 2/3 of the dogs I have scheduled out for the year. I have had some issues with newer clients not knowing how much I have had to accomplish over the last year but especially since I lost my main receptionist right before the holidays. I have been working 7 days a week until 10pm or later to get everyone scheduled for next year, and 95% of that work load has been on me which is fair because it’s my business. I have spent 2-4 hours a day working on the schedule on my full work days after grooming 8-12 dogs and coming in on my days off to continue working on the schedule. I am exhausted but I keep pushing myself because I am so grateful to everyone continuing to support me and my team. I am very sorry for the delay and I understand that a lot of Paige’s clients are used to being able to get online and schedule appointments with her. I am working on being able to book through our software but being brand new this year I wanted to focus on establishing the business before changing how I schedule everything. I appreciate the patience that has been shown and if for any reason anyone is upset about how long it has taken me I hope this helps clear up some confusion. I truly am grateful to everyone and I am hoping that this year things will be better not just for me but for everyone that continues to use Danielle’s Paw Parlor as well. I love you all 💜💜

Hey everyone, I have a lot of schedules completed. If you would like to message me I can send a pic of your schedule or you can stop by and pick it up! I am still working on Thursday and Friday dogs. I also have a few people I am waiting on to get back to me. I want to accommodate everyone as best I can so if something doesn’t work we can discuss adjusting things accordingly.
