We have some updates to post later, but I need a nap. We unexpectedly had to lay Drax, the Bearded Dragon, to rest after rushing her into the emergency vet last night. I am emotionally and mentally drained right now, I apologize. We have adoption updates I will share hopefully later today, tomorrow at the latest!

We had a fun and unique situation today where and adoptee wanted a baby for us and Gardner's Pig Pen-Guinea Pig Rescue! We all work together and jump at the opportunity and both baby girls went to their new furever home today! We are so excited for their new mommy and fun adventures, enjoy ladies!!

🩷🩷 ELSA & ANA VET UPDATE 🩷🩷

Not the news I wanted to hear, but I sadly knew was a possibility! This is why it's so critical to monitor every move of your piggies to try and detect any issues as quickly as possible. We are certain that Elsa has uterine cancer as she has a growth forming in that area that appeared on their ultra sounds. Ana Ultrasound came back clear, but does have some discharge. They did not charge for their ultrasounds which is why our bill ended up being lower than expected! There is a small slight possibility thay Elsa is dealing with a slight infection on top of possible uterine cancer, so both ladies will be on antibiotics/pain meds (Elsa for 2 weeks and Ana for 1 week). We will continue to keep Elsa as comfortable as possible and when she lets us know it's her time, we will let her cross over peacefully with dignity! Please keep these two sweet ladies in your thoughts!! These ladies will not be up for adoption and have been moved to sanctuary only!

Thank you to everyone who has donated toward their vet bill, it was 100% covered 🩷

Percy has been adopted!! Myla's only baby boy has been adopted and left for his furever home today with his new buddy and family! Buddy was also adopted through us a couple years ago, and his mommy felt it was time to find him a little friend! Wishing these two boys and their family a lifetime full of fun, snackies and excitement!!
