‼️‼️STONE REMOVAL‼️‼️

On today’s episode of, “What is Trish up to!?”

Upon doing weekly health checks and cage cleanings, discovered that one of our senior sanctuary ladies named Bella, had a stone stuck in her urethra! I was able to successfully remove the stone which provided immediate relief to Bella. She is an old gal, very opinionated and snuck in some nips while removing the stones, I don’t blame her!!

As you can see in the before and after photos of her, her eyes tell it all, from high alert/pain and then a more calm and relieved state. Pretty interested that these two stones looked like they connected together at one point and split into two, making the inside/layers visible.

These boys are so inseparable, figured I’d bathe them together! Mo and Hawk will be available for adoption soon!

💥💥WE STILL NEED HELP💥💥

We desperately need to gather funds, I feel bad as it seems I am consistently asking for help, but everything has become so expensive! We haven’t been receiving many donations which scares me as I don’t want to get into a dire situation again. I always let our followers know that if we can’t keep the rescue afloat, we can’t keep the doors open. We’ve been trying our best to keep supplies in stock and rescue bills paid, but we’re barely surviving and I can’t financially afford to pay the rescue by myself.

My goals are to get together new photos, gets adoptables posted, sanctuary piggies that can be sponsored monthly or one-time, that way we can start taking in surrenders again. I haven’t been as active in Facebook due to having a baby, but I am doing my best to get back into the swing of things, the newborn phase has been brutal, but I am doing my best! Things will get easier once my baby isn’t so little, but we’ve been dealing with colic and acid reflex.

Thank you to those who continue to support us, believe in us and have understood the silence during this new transition! Remember, we are non-profit so you can write off your donations if you wish to!

💛2026 GUINEA PIG BOARDING/PET SITTING💛

We have availability now, located in Oakley, CA!! We have openings this month and throughout the year. If you wanted to plan that family trip you've been waiting for or having an unexpected trip, let us ease your mind knowing your babies are in the best of care with us until you return!! All boarding costs are listed below which includes hay, veggies and pellets, so no need to pack any extra snacks! We've unfortunately had to increase our fees as everything has gone up which makes care more pricy. We will provide a discount for extended stays which can be discussed upon message/phone, this applies to 3 weeks or longer. We offer a spa treatment as an add on which would include bathing/blow drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning and boar cleaning if a male(s) (see pricing below). If you have further questions or want to schedule your stay, please send us a message!! All funds raised for boarding goes directly back into our rescue, this was an idea made based on ways to help support our rescue outside of other donations.

✨️$35.00 per day for 1-2 piggy
✨️$40.00 per day for 3 piggies
✨️4 piggies or more - inquire about pricing

💥Optional Addons💥

Full Spa Treatment: Includes delicate shampoo bath, blow drying/brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning and boar cleaning if necessary (for males).

✨️$35 for 1 Guinea Pig
✨️$30 each for 2 or more ($5 discount)

➡️ Please note if you do opt out of the Spa Treatment, we will always trim nails as a complimentary service. Bathing/grooming is provided the day before pick up.

➡️ If medications or syringe feeding are needed, please add an additional $5.00 per day. All medications MUST come with the original bottle/label with instructions to ensure the proper administration is given.

➡️If any other special/specific needs are needed, please let us know so that we can discuss if there are any additional fees to be added. We try to be as fair as possible!

Stocked up some needed items today while we wait for our pellet shipment, piggies will be ecstatic!!

We’ve raised $100 thus far!! I’ve been completing tasks and health checks since yesterday! I’m super excited to get things back in complete order!!

‼️‼️PELLETS NEEDED‼️‼️

We are FLYING through pellets and veggies, we need to do a mass restock on pellets!!! Chewy is currently the best deal at $34 for a 40lb bag of Sweet Meadows All Timothy Guinea Pig Pellets! We just spent almost $200 for 5 bags which should be here next week. Chewy is the only place that sells these pellets unfortunately! They are listed on our Chewy Wishlist or you can make a monetary donation to cover a bag or however many you wish to purchase for the rescue! You can also purchase a chew gift card that we can redeem and use on our rescue account!!

I’m sorry if it seems we’ve been asking non stop for donations, they’ve unfortunately only gone so far with veggie costs ($240 every 2 weeks), hay restock, pellets, trash/water and electric rescue portion of bills. If anyone can help toward rescue costs, we’d greatly appreciate it! Please like, share or comment as we are getting filtered and many are not seeing our posts!!
