Yesterday, Feline Fund hosted several feral cat days across Michigan, with over 160 appointments statewide, making an incredible impact for our community cats! I know we usually do a video and I promise it's coming soon...but here are some of the sweet faces from yesterday.
A special shout-out to everyone at The PAWS Clinic for hosting 104 cats and helping make such a difference. We’re also incredibly grateful to the Delmar and Audria M. Olson Family Foundation for sponsoring 100 of our cats! Your support is changing lives. ❤️
Here’s a recap of the amazing work at the PAWS Clinic:
🐾 104 cats came in for Feline Fund’s sponsored feral cat day. 🐾 2 cats were already sterilized, confirmed under anesthesia. 🐾 58 females and 44 males were sterilized. 🐾 1 cat received a repair for a very large hernia. 🐾 1 cryptorchid male had an undescended testicle located and removed. 🐾 1 cat required a tail amputation, performed by the clinic’s fabulous veterinarian.
Every appointment represents a cat who will no longer contribute to the cycle of overpopulation, and many received additional medical care they desperately needed.
Thank you to the veterinarians, clinic teams, trappers, colony caretakers, volunteers, donors, and everyone who makes this work possible. It takes a community to care for our community cats, and yesterday was proof of what we can accomplish together! 🐈❤️
