Congrats to Christine OBrien with Ruff Life Photography for being recognized as the BEST PHOTOGRAPHER in Metro Detroit by WDIV Local 4 / ClickOnDetroit! We totally agree as she is also the photographer for our upcoming "Working Cats" calendar and book!

Her photos were also featured in this month's Troy City Lifestyle and West Bloomfield City Lifestyle magazines, showcasing local celebrities to spotlight rescue animals looking for homes. (Link in comments) in addition, our founder Tara Tomcsik-Husak was featured (although she's not a celebrity...lol) and our incredible partner Mike Palmer at Premier Pet Supply!

Happy International Cat Day from all of us at Feline Fund!

Celebrated each year on August 8, International Cat Day was created in 2002 to raise awareness about cats, their welfare, and the importance of responsible care.

Today, we celebrate every cat, from beloved pets to the countless cats still waiting for a loving home.

Our first "Meows on the Mound" was a MEOWgical night!

The rain stayed away(most of the time), two amazing cats got adopted and found their forever homes, we raised money to help even more cats in need, met some incredible adventure cats, watched inflatable cats race the bases, cheered on the honorary first pitch (thrown by a cat), and even spotted a litter box in the stands (which somehow felt completely appropriate!).

One of our favorite moments of the night? Our young 50/50 raffle winner chose to donate her winnings back to our adoption partner, Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit. What an incredible reminder that kindness comes in all ages.

To everyone who came out, volunteered, sponsored, donated, adopted, bought raffle tickets, wore cat ears, or simply spent your Saturday night with us at the ballpark...THANK YOU. Your support means more than you know, and because of you, more cats will receive the care they deserve.

Cat people really are the best people. 🐾❤️
