Meet Mama Jolie!
Well here she is! The Mama to 6 puppies we had the honor to share in their birth and first few months of life before adoption.
This precious mama dog was such a special joy to us for months! When it came time for her adoption she was snatched up quickly by the BEST family who LOVES her so so much. She has moved far away from us, all the way to Texas, BUT that’s okay because she is definitely HOME there!!
Sweet Jolie, you will always hold a special place in our hearts at Basset Hound Rescue of Alabama 💗

This sweet boy has hit the jackpot! ⭐️🎉🥳
Meet Duggie! He and his new sister, Zoie, almost look like twins!
This baby was adopted by the BEST family all the way in Lake St. Louis, Mo!
He has a wonderful new home and BHRA couldn’t be prouder!
So happy for you sweet Duggie! 💙

Meet Tulip, a 3 year old basset who was surrendered to BHRA when her family was no longer able to care for her. Tulip is heartworm positive and recently had 2 seizures which resulted in an emergency vet visit and multiple tests. While we are still trying to get a diagnosis, Tulip has run up quite a vet bill. To help pay for her medical care we are having a fundraiser - T-shirts for Tulip. Make a donation of $30 and you can select a BHRA shirt! Nelson is a gentle, social pup who loves being around people and other dogs. He’s relaxed, playful, and happiest cuddled up on the couch under a blanket. He rests his head on your lap at the dinner table and lets you know when he needs to go outside—he’s potty trained, too! Nelson does get a little sad when left alone and may cry, so he’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the time or with another friendly dog for company.

His dad is a long time supporter of BHRA as he adopted his first basset hound from us almost 25 years ago!!!
