Swim time for Puck looks a little different these days, but her favorite place is still our pool. Her joints aren’t what they used to be and she can’t leap through the water, but even seven years later, she can’t wait to get in. We love Puck (and dogs like her) that we get to care for through all stages of life.

📸Picture this: You waited MONTHS for your Doggies Play Evaluation at the best daycare in town. Their first day finally rolls around — you drop your dog off to a smiling face. You’re excited, but nervous! You know this day is all about them!

🥺Leaving your pup in a new place can be scary, but your dog walks in with a wagging tail (or maybe cautiously approaches the warm and smiley handler). Drop off is complete, and your mind wanders… “Is she having a good day? Did she make friends? Do the humans love her?”

🐶Fast foward a few hours. You get a personal email straight from the facility owner….or better yet, the team member who personally evaluated your Doggie! They tell you how she’s doing, what she’s doing, and that she’ll be a great fit

Hello Doggie Parents!

Every so often, we like to jump on here and break up the (much desired) Doggie photos. We do this to add important updates and info regarding how we operate and why we do what we do. It’s a little different than most “businesses” but we recognize that we are much more than just a “business”. We care for your babies, and we feel we owe updates, honesty, and inside-looks.

Whether you’ve used us for years or your Doggie has only just joined us, the most important question you might ask yourself is “Why is Doggie Do-Rite different? Why are they special?”

We are excited to share a few things that set us apart from your other canine-care options in the area. To name a few small, fun features we offer that others do not, we’ll start with…

🚗1. Our Doggie Drive-Up: Stay in your car and let our handlers do the rest. They will greet your dog by name and safely get them in and out of your vehicle

💦2. Our in-ground dog pool: Rest assured your dog enjoys their summer days just as much as you do. We never charge extra - this is part of their experience with us!

☀️3. Indoor-outdoor, crate-free access: We don’t “cram” your dogs in little rooms all day. They’re given access to be free-thinking individual pups. They can roam from inside to outside at their leisure, of course closely monitored to ensure no one stays out of the A/C for too long or over exerts themselves in any weather condition

🎉4. Events: We try to keep things different and exciting for your Doggies. Events are held monthly and range from brain-work and scent work, to cute art pawjects and photo shoots. While familiarity and routine is so important for dogs, it’s equally important to provide small exciting add-ons and variation to their days to keep things engaging

📋5. Our Play Evaluations: They’re rigorous.
A “social” dog does not mean an automatic “good fit” for our daycare. Dogs who join our space must be not only friendly, but also receptive to boundaries and social cues amongst other canines. Ideally, incoming pups must have some form of recall or basis of training to ensure we, as their caregivers, can keep them safe in or environment! We know puppies don’t come with built-in manners, and we are happy to work with parents to ensure a harmonious introduction to our facility in a way that is still safe and fun for their little one.

🧍🏼‍♂️6. Our team: To know them is to love them! Our team is dependable, trustworthy, and full of love for your Doggies. They are here rain or shine to greet your dogs with a smile. They are the first to report to management when your doggie doesn’t quite seem themselves at daycare, or if someone is licking their paw just a little too long. They notice things that even parents miss in their busy days, and despite the weather or what the day brings, they show up. We simply couldn’t have a better crew

‼️Something you should know: We are focused on constantly IMPROVING, not just expanding. In early 2025, we added our Grooming Salon and it’s been quite the hit! With this complete, our focus has shifted entirely to improvement, not additional growth.

We feel, well, I (Taylor) feel, that more important than offering a whole lot of services, is offering a few select services and offering them with extreme care and integrity.

We have recently announced our (huge)
re-flooring project that will take place next month. After this, we will be shifting our focus onto additional safety and comfortability measures for the pups in our care (more on that soon!). We’re excited to share that many of our team members will be attending continuing education seminars to improve their knowledge, learn more about canine first aid, and arrive overall each day even better equipped to care for your Doggies.

We can’t wait to continue sharing our journey of improvement with you. After all, we are so much more than just “the place you leave your dog”. We are their second home, and we take that title seriously! Thank you for entrusting your four legged kids with us.
