August 1st is known as Dogust 1st: This is the universal birthday for shelter dogs. Thousands of sweet dogs land at animal shelters & rescues until they can find their forever homes. This "birthday" applies to dogs who don't have an official record in place.

It's going to be another hot one today🥵🔥☀️
Please keep your pets indoors in a cool area and have plenty of water available! Walks should be done early morning or later in evening. With this heat you can forgo the walk all together until temps cool.
Remember our short snouted pets such as Bulldogs, Pugs and Frenchies do not do well in this heat.
AND PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET IN YOUR VEHICLE FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER!!!
And PLEASE if you see a stray please contain and call the Police!
