Mack Snacks Inc. update about our program and a few exciting things I’ve gotten to experience top of my list is my every other week to the coolest barber shop in Groton. I have an individual that I’ve been bringing there while we wait for his laundry. At first when I walked in you could tell they didn’t know what to say. This is when I wish I understood Spanish. Today, after a few visits, the young man I bring there was welcomed with fist bumps by each and every person, spoken to by his first name, brought to the fridge to choose his favorite color Gatorade for free and treated with complete respect, lucky enough to get a shave by the same very kind barber. He thanks everyone with excitement telling them he will see them next time.
We have our new classroom all situated (for now as we keep adding & rearranging), we have visited the aquarium, a few walks around Mystic Village & Hewitt Farm, Sunday visit to the Flea Market.
We are all looking forward to the warmer weather and getting outside. 😎
