ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT: Roommates Clawdia and Patches will continue their lives together as housemates! Sweet Clawdia was rescued from life as a stray by a compassionate cat lover during January's bitter freeze. He named her, cared for her, and quickly fell in love with her. When he discovered she was pregnant, he was heartbroken. With no experience caring for newborn kittens, he made the incredibly difficult and selfless decision to surrender her to CFC so she and her babies could receive the expert care they needed. Even after saying goodbye, he never stopped thinking about her. When he later saw Clawdia on our website searching for her forever home, he realized it was time to bring her home. There was just one more thing. Her foster family shared that Clawdia really wanted a feline friend. Her admirer wanted the same for her. Enter Patches. Patches confidently walked right up to greet him when he entered the room. Then, to completely seal the deal, Clawdia and Patches began wrestling, chasing, and playing together as if they had always belonged side by side. The decision was made. Clawdia headed home with the person who never forgot her, and Patches is joining the family as her chosen companion. We couldn't be happier for this perfect trio and the beautiful second chance they have found together.
