As we wrap up our 2025 blueberry picking season at Lobes Farm, we're filled with gratitude for the wonderful memories we've made together. Despite the challenges posed by the hot weather, we're proud to have shared our bounty with so many of you.

To those guests who had planned on visiting at the end of August, we send our sincere apologies that we were not able to accommodate your plans.
Unfortunately, the unusually hot weather was beyond our control.🥵

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again in 2026!

Did you know that just $.10 from a soda can or bottle can help us save lives and continue our mission! We revamped our blue bag program a few months ago to make it super convenient to all those wanting to support! Want to support us by collecting bottles and cans for us? Check out the steps below!

1. Fill out the order form for the blue bag- https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfLjrgpKexgs5ruDZFBjik0hDD0St4BR3WsOiber2UwFvKVvQ/viewform?usp=header

2. Check you mail as we ship them directly to your house!

3. Fill up the bags! (this is the hardest part). Don't worry though you got it!

4. Drop them off at the nearest bottle drop to you. You can drop at the large bottle drop locations or the hubs at the grocery stores!
Our barcode is already on the bag so you just have to scan and drop for our account to get credit!

Bottle drop funds are essential to our program. They help cover cost we don't fundraise for like the purchase of vaccines, rent, vet exams and more. So who is ready to help save lives one can at a time?!!

END OF SEASON GRATITUDE

Thank you Tyler and Matt for making our website this year! Not only did they design it, but they also managed and maintained it all season long! Tyler also implemented many customer conveniences. He put up the misting tent to cool down after picking in the hot sun and he also worked tirelessly on trying to get a system working that would accept credit cards with such limited Internet service! He is an inspiration and if you were lucky, you were able to meet him at the beginning of the season!

Another HUGE THANK YOU to Darcy, who volunteered every Wednesday evening to help out AND brought dinner to make sure everyone working got a break to eat!

We can't forget to thank our "REGULAR" guests that came out time and time again, usually bringing more and more people with them! I was so excited when I was able to learn their names and could greet them on a personal basis!!

We truly appreciate ALL the people that came out to pick blueberries with us! There were many other options out there.

Many more thanks to the friends and neighbors who helped out. I truly feel honored to be surrounded by such wonderful people!

We look forward to next year and hope to see you all again!!!
