We are looking for immediate puppy fosters. There is a group of 4 week old puppies who need our help but they are too young to come into the shelter. They are at a rural, full shelter and can only be pulled if we have committed help. They will likely need some special attention from their flea infestation. They are eating on their own but may need supplemented with slurry and iron/vitamin supplements while in foster care. They will receive de-worming medication, vaccines and microchip upon intake. We can provide crates, exercise pens, etc. If you are an approved foster, please call us at (843) 427-4388. Please make sure you have at least 4 weeks free on your calendar before volunteering. You can take one or a pair of puppies. If you are not yet an approved puppy foster home, please visit our website at www.kindkeeper.org and complete a foster application. Without you - we can't continue to save the most vulnerable animals who need our help. Thank you in advance! Sharon

Have you gotten a call recently asking if you're still interested in volunteering with us? Or, if your interests have changed? We're trying to update our files and would love to hear from you. We need volunteer help. If you have time/talents - perhaps you've retired recently....give us a call. We need more volunteer transporters too. If you can pick up animals, drop them off at our brick and mortar store(s), vet appointments, spay/neuter appointments, etc. Some we get lead time on, some are short notice requests.
