Roman's Travel with Care We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit animal rescue, transporter and foster. Registered public charity, USDA certified T56-0011, licensed/insured.

We also provide home inspections for rescues, fosters, adoptions, day care, walks, vet runs, spay/neuter and more! Roman's Travel with Care is a 5013c non profit animal rescue and transport. We also assist with transport needs for other rescues.

1 year ago today Karen retrieved Heidi and Tyson from deplorable conditions. The owner neglected them. In the one year both have been vaccinated, groomed and on medications for various health issues. Tyson had surgery to remove a large cancerous tumor. They love the farm and all the friends they have made. They had their first Christmas, Easter egg hunt, hiking and fun in the water. Seeing them so happy makes our hearts smile. They have endless toys, treats, good food, proper vetting, dog beds and a large farm family. We love you Heidi Clementine and Tyson Maxwell. 🩷🩵

One of our transport drivers ran off the road and wrecked to avoid hitting a dog on a retractable leash. The dog ran into the road, the dog was on a retractable leash. The woman walking the dog could not handle the retractable leash or dog per our driver and her dash camera. Our driver went off the side of the road to avoid hitting the dog. While she was only going 25 mph she hit a mailbox. We have said this many times RETRACTABLE LEASHES ARE NOT SAFE! This is an example. We never use them and refuse to allow them on transport. Our driver would have been devastated to run over the dog. Retractable leashes are careless and not safe for any size or breed of dog! Law requires you have your dog under your control at all times and you cannot safely do that with retractable leashes. 🤨

We find it absurd for Veterinarians to charge the customer an "OSHA" disposal fee for the needles they use to vaccinate and draw blood. With the high Vet fees adding another $7 to $20 fee does not help! It's a service the Veterinarian is required by law to use, it should not be charged to the customer. These Veterinarians are getting greedy.

Starting immediately we are not taking on any new transports until further notice. The high gas prices and increase in maintenance on transport vehicles is financially draining. We will post again when we will be taking new transports.
