🐺 Wolf Update!
Wolf returned for his follow-up on Tuesday where we repeated X-rays, an ultrasound, and bloodwork to make sure he’s healing just as well on the inside as he looks on the outside. We are thrilled to share that everything came back incredibly well — our boy is recovering!
Because he still has some inflammation in his front legs, we re-X-rayed them to be absolutely certain we weren’t missing anything. While we remained confident it was inflammation-related, the radiologist did note a bit of cloudiness around the bone. Their report recommended a bone marrow biopsy and a tissue cell FNA to confirm what both our team and the surgeon suspected: new bone calcification caused by inflammation, not a more serious condition.
During the biopsy procedures, the surgeon felt very reassured that this is exactly what we’re dealing with — nothing more. We’re awaiting final results to be extra cautious, but so far all signs point to good news.
Wolf has now officially begun immunotherapy for Pythian, and all we can say is this:
Wolf is our miracle boy.
He isn’t just another rescue story — he continues to teach us every single day, and we know in our hearts that he has so much good left to do in this world. He’s not going anywhere.
To everyone who has donated, shared, prayed, or cheered him on: thank you. Your support has played a real role in his healing and his future. We are endlessly grateful.
