You've probably heard one of our doctors mention a "chemistry panel" before...

But what exactly are we looking at?

Think of a chemistry panel as a snapshot of what's happening inside your pet's body.

While your pet may look healthy on the outside, a chemistry panel helps us evaluate how some of their major organs and body systems are functioning on the inside.

🍖 Protein levels

One of the reasons we love bloodwork so much is because it can help us identify changes before your pet starts showing obvious signs at home.

After seeing thousands of pets over the years, we've noticed something...

🐾💚 Ever wonder why we sometimes take your pet to the back? 💚🐾

We get it — you want to stay with your pet every step of the way.
We love that. It means you care!

But here’s the thing…

Some pets are absolute angels with their people.

🐾 look to mom or dad for reassurance
🐾 or feel a bit more nervous with you nearby

Sometimes, giving them a little space — a new setting, a few calm voices, and some gentle, experienced hands — can make all the difference.

This 10-week-old Cane Corso is everything you could hope for in a puppy —

Now listen — Santinio may be almost 16 months old now… but to us?
He’ll always be that tiny little 9-week-old puppy we first met 😭💚

trust us… there has been some SERIOUS growing happening here. 👀

From baby puppy energy…
to a sweet, respectful, and truly adorable young man 🐶✨

Santinio has grown into the kind of dog that just makes your day better the second you see him.

💚 Watching our patients grow up is one of the absolute best parts of what we do.

From first visits… to confident, happy check-ins — it never gets old.

🐾 We are SO lucky to have known Santinio since the very beginning, and we can’t wait to keep watching him grow into the amazing dog he’s becoming.

We know you’re celebrating… and let’s be real… your pets are absolutely convinced they should be included.

And for once… we agree 😌

🌮✨ Let’s build a pet-safe taco bowl! ✨🌮

Think simple, fresh, and NO seasonings (their stomachs will thank you 👀)

🐾 Base: plain white or brown rice
🍗 Protein: unseasoned chicken, turkey, or beef (BOILED)
🥕 Toppings: carrots, green beans, or a little lettuce
🥄 Bonus: a spoonful of plain pumpkin, kong cheeses (in moderation) or sweet potato

🚫 Skip the following:
❌ onions & garlic
❌ spicy toppings
❌ cheese overload
❌ anything heavily seasoned

💚 The goal:
Let them feel included without upsetting their stomach later.

Because nothing ruins a celebration faster than a midnight tummy ache.
