Meet Dionne! This sweet and beautiful girl has a heart full of love and a spirit that shines bright. She’s a chill and happy pup when inside, happily lounging and relaxing. But outside, she’s full of energy—zoomies, playtime, and endless fun with her foster siblings. Dionne loves to run and explore, and once she’s had her share of active play, she’s incredibly mellow and cuddly. She’s knows “sit,” isn’t a jumper, and has a remarkable recall for her age. With her curious spirit and balanced temperament, Dionne is a wonderful companion ready to bring joy and love to her new family.

He was family to HOH and we are heartbroken learning of this immense loss. Fly high our dear friend until we all meet again one day.
It is with a very heavy heart I share that we said goodbye to our beloved Charlie this weekend. I cannot even begin to express how grateful we are to have him as a part of our family … from the moment we met Charlie he was undeniable perfection!!

A lover of toys and the best player of catch, Charlie never turned down an opportunity to snag a tennis ball mid-air. His cute little face begging for another toss is permanently embedded in my mind as are his acrobatic chompy-chomps playing in the hose/sprinkler.
Even though 8 ½ years with my guy was not enough, I am so thankful that he chose us to be his family. As my husband always told him “Everyone loves Charlie!” and it is the truth. He was the perfect shop dog in Bel Air. He was the perfect shop dog in Crozet. He was the perfect neighborhood dog. Everyone who met Charlie was charmed by his sweet nature and bright eyes.

Thank you to House of Hope Animal Rescue for bringing this magical creature into our lives. His departure has taken a piece of my heart, but I gladly give that up for the amazing experiences we shared together.

Thank you Charlie for always spreading kindness and cheer. I will miss you forever.
