We keep getting more and more excited!!
We hope to see you at The Village of North Aurora’s Dog Days of Summer.
There’s going to be a pet parade, contests, food trucks, we’ll be there with Mr. Scott's Dog Spa, and VCA Aurora Animal Hospital! Rover Rescue of Illinois and some other awesome rescues will be there with some adoptable kiddos.
Come out for some family fun Saturday July 19th!

North Aurora is going to the dogs (and cats and all the pets!) with Dog Days of Summer taking place on Saturday, July 19 from 9am—12pm at North Aurora Riverfront Park! We'll have a pet parade and contests (with 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐄𝐒 for the winner of each category!), adoptable dogs from local rescue groups Rescued Rascals, Rover Rescue of Illinois and Tiny N Tall Rescue Inc., .

There'll be snacks for humans and dogs alike from Kona Ice of Central Naperville and Monster Gyros - Serna's Grill Food Truck, plus vendor tables from our amazing sponsors Mr. Scott's Dog Spa, VCA Aurora Animal Hospital and Randall Orchard Crossing Animal Hospital as well as an informational table from Kane County Animal Control!

Hi ROCAH Family!

We want to let you know we are updating our Appointment Confirmation Policy.

As of August 1, 2025, all appointments will need to be confirmed either verbally over the phone or through text message via AllyDVM.

All appointments will need to be confirmed no later than 3pm the day prior to your pet's appointment or your pet's appointment time will be forfeit. Forfeit appointment times may be filled by another client.

We want to ensure we are able to accommodate as many sick, injured, and wellness pets as we can daily. When clients No Show, we are not able to fill those times, it makes it difficult for our doctors and technicians to structure their day (especially with surgical No Shows), and some pets may have delayed care.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation and understanding. If you have any questions, please let us know!

There are only 11 days until The Village of North Aurora’s Dog Days of Summer!
Saturday, July 19th from 9am-12pm - fun for the whole family before it gets too hot! ☀️🐾

🐾We’ll be there handing out some super cute goodies, and yummy snacks for the two and four legged kiddos.
🐾There will be a pet parade with categories like: best costume, most unusual, and twinning (owner and pet matching)
🐾There will be contests like: best trick, best puppy eyes, and speed demon.

Just a reminder to make sure you're prepared for the fireworks if you have anxious pets or people in your household!

North Aurora and Aurora will be holding their firework displays on Thursday, July 3rd.
Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, and Elgin will be holding their firework displays on Friday, July 4th.

Please don't wait until tomorrow and Thursday to scramble to get anxiety medications. The clinic will also be closed on the 4th of July in observance of Independence Day.

Don't wait until July 3rd to prepare! The 4th is next Friday and will be here before you know it. Are you ready for the fireworks?

Make sure your kiddos are sporting their “bling” in case they get out! It makes it easier for them to be returned, and known they are up-to-date on their vaccine. 🥰💎🏷️

With the 4th of July fast approaching, don't forget to prepare your pet and make sure they're wearing their bling! More pets get lost during this time than any other, so be extra cautious.

Keep pets indoors, prep their safe space, make sure they are wearing a collar with accurate contact information, and check now that their microchip information is current.
