DATES FOR NEXT WAR HORSE HORSE TRIALS WILL BE AUGUST 15th & 16th!!

When I was looking at dates for the fall, the schedule seemed pretty full.... We thought having the War Horse on the weekend of August 15th & 16th was a good start to the fall season but would also be a good opportunity to prep for the AEC's!!

Opening day for the War Horse will be June 30th and closing day will be August 11th!!

Entry forms will be up shortly, but in the meantime if you have any questions (prior to opening day it's me, after opening day it's Beth!!), please text me at 925.580.9841!

I KNOW!!.. I'M ALWAYS A WEEK LATE IN SAYING TO THE SPONSORS, RIDERS AND VOLUNTEERS HOW INCREDIBLE YOU ALL ARE FOR MAKING THIS SUCH A SUCCESSFUL EVENT!!! (I'll really try after the next event to be better at my paperwork!!!)

First! - Thank you to Carrie Levesque and Stubben for such wonderful prizes!! The bridle and the tendon boots were great additions to the show!! It was very generous! I think the cookie jar stole the show with respect to the first prize products!! Thank you Carrie, we all really appreciate your sponsorship!!

Shannon Sharp won the tendon boots for the show!!

Thank you as well to Finish Line products!! Your Feet First and Kool On are such great products, and as always the competitors and volunteers were very excited to have you back again as a sponsor!! Thank you very much!!

I know that "It takes a village", is such a cliche, but it the absolute truth.. All the different skill sets, the different personalities that make it happen, people fitting in their time to come work, even before the show... I know everyone knows it, but the amount of effort from everyone is incredible.. and truly appreciated by all of us!! Thank you to riders, volunteers and our very special sponsors, it was great to see everyone for the event!!

TIMES FOR SUNDAY ARE UP ON STARTBOX!! (As an fyi, Beth had tornadoes by her house last night, torrential rains and electricity lost in her home) Thank you Beth for getting everything done this evening!! We all appreciate it....

Office will open at 7:30 on SUNDAY

SATURDAY'S schedule will be the following:

Office opens at 9:00

Cross Country will be open at 9:00 and closes at 4:00

Practice Dressage Tests will start at 10:00 and run until approximately 11:20

Stadium practice rounds will start at 12:00 and finish at 4:00

If there are any questions, Jen Bergey will be in the office tomorrow morning, and she'll be able to help you!!!

GENTLE REMINDER OF SENDING ENRIES IN FOR THE WAR HORSE HT's, NEXT WEEKEND, April 25th & 26th!!!!

Next Tuesday, April 20th, is closing day!! If you haven't sent in your entries to Beth, if you could that done by the weekend, it helps when there aren't a lot at the very end!!! You can scan them, and then just email the documents to her @ [email protected]

You don't have to send them snail mail!! Looking forward to seeing everyone next weekend!! Stay safe!!

SO FUN FACT TWO!!!! FOR THE HORSE TRIALS ON THE 26th!!!

Carrie and Stubben came up with another fabulous idea!! You know when you have worked so hard to get to a show, and you think you're going to be top 3, and you get there, and not everything goes according to plan??!!! A few ups and downs, (but always a learning experience, right??!!).... and then there is the higher score than you wanted!!...

Well, Carrie wants to give a "True Grit" award to the score that is the highest yet still finishes. Stubben and she want to make sure they support all riders who have had one of those shows and yet keep going!!....

So, they will be donating a set of tendon boots for the highest score for the show... truly in the spirit of "don't ever give up"!!!

AN UPDATE FOR THE WAR HORSE HORSE TRIALS!

With the new 2026 dressage tests, the USEF added a Starter Test B... The test that we will be using in April will be Starter Test A!.. Just wanted to make sure everyone was learning the correct test!!

A QUICK CLARIFICATION ON STABLING FOR THE HORSE TRIALS ON APRIL 25th & 26th!!

Stabling is $60/day... so if you come in on April 24th and leave the 26th... that is 3 days and not 2.... if you have any questions, contact Beth @ 785.766.4563.

If you have entered the HT's and have not paid for stabling, and need stalls... I would get that done as soon as possible! We have half the stabling already filled!!

GOOD MORNING!! ENTRIES FOR THE WAR HORSE HORSE TRIALS IS NOW OPEN FOR APRIL 25th & 26th!!

The schedule for Saturday the 25th will be the same... Schooling for Stadium and Cross country will run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will also be dressage practice tests, in the morning.

Sunday the 26th's schedule will be dressage, stadium then cross country... Ribbons will be given out in the Club House! Sherry Guess will be the dressage judge.

If you plan on reserving a stall, you need to get ahold of Beth quickly, as they are already starting to fill up!! Please don't send me any entries or requests!! Everyone who knows me, knows, I'm not very good at that!!!
