Not only do we run a licensed Sanctuary...we are actively involved in rescuing cats and kittens off the streets. Our Sanctuary provides refuge for cats who may not be easily adoptable. Many older kitties ...some with behavioral issues and some who have just not found a home!. Those kitties are home!!!...until if and when they do get adopted. We are not about numbers!.. we are about care and quality.
We take in the elderly, the sick, and the injured....and the most adorable kittens!. We have one of the most beautiful Sanctuaries...and it was a miracle we were able to build it!.. but we paid our dues over this past 30 years of rescue!.. it didn't happen overnight.
We need your help! We were late to social media and our footprint is miniscule to what it should be...for what we do!. We have over 90 kitties in our care!!!...I guess it sounds ridiculous when people see the Sanctuary...but we are basically a mom and pop grassroots rescue!. No staff...no salaries...just me and Randy working 24/7 looking after the Sanctuary...and a handful of amazing fosters!.
Please share our posts!.. please think about becoming a monthly donor!...yes we apply for grants...but they are less than they used to be and costs have gone up so much...food litter vet bills. Yes we get most of our litter donated but we still have to pay shipping.
We are a "one of a kind rescue" I was once told by a donor. We used to be crawling around grabbing kittens out of bushes...still do on occasion...fostering them and doing adoptions every weekend. Things changed a little ...adoption is done on line with approved adopters coming to meet kitties at the Sanctuary...or foster homes. We are a street rescue!... occasionally taking from the shelters....and only taking black cats from the shelters system.

For those who are interested in adopting a young cat vs a kitten…The kitty on the right in this pic needs a good home asap. The owner passed away and the home is being sold. She is a 1.5 yr old female tortico, very friendly and loving. She is spayed and vaccinated. A rehoming fee will be required. (Just fyi, the other kitty is 16 yo and was already rehomed).
