Happy Mother’s Day to my wife. She is the sweetest, most caring and loyalest mother to the end. She is the best mother to our girls and puts up with all of our crazy daily. Mother’s Day is the day she gets the recognition she deserves everyday for being who she is the best mother.

Bad to the Bone will have some taxidermy up for silent auction, along with an airboat ride. The proceeds go to benefit a good friend of ours, Rachel, who is battling colon cancer. The event is Saturday at 11 and we would love to see you there!

If you have time this weekend please consider helping out this worthy cause.

Rachel Parrish, a 34 year-old mom of 2 and wife of Matt Parrish, a North Port firefighter, is currently fighting stage 4 colon cancer. All
profits will go directly to the Parrish family. There will music, food & drinks, bounce houses, games, dunk tank, K9 demo, firetruck and police car for the kids to check out, playground, vendors, penny social and an AMAZING silent auction. Check the photo for some of the items. Please do what you can to come out and support the Parrish Family.

This will be going on the same time as Relay For Life so it should be an exciting day around City Hall.

I had the privilege to take this awesome young man hunting this past weekend. He is battling brain cancer for the 3rd time and is an avid hunter, but never hunted gators. The hunt went great and he killed a stud that measured a healthy 11’ 3”. I would also like to thank Roy with The Outdoor Adventure Foundation for giving me the opportunity to meet this incredible fighter.
