Who We Are

The Jessamine County Animal Shelter is an open-intake, county-run shelter located in Nicholasville, KY. The shelter accepts dogs and cats from county residents and offers these animals for adoption to the general public. Adoption fees for dogs are $120 (over 6 months) or $150 (6 months and under); fees for cats are $80. This includes spay/neuter, microchip and a one-year license (for dogs).
