No Place Like Home

This old barn stands weathered, proud, and strong,
Holding memories I’ve carried all along.
Its worn wooden boards and rusted tin roof
Are reminders of lessons that time has proved.

I was raised on this farm beneath wide country skies,
Learning the value of hard work before sunrise.
From dusty boots to long summer days,
This land helped shape me in countless ways.

The fields may change with each passing year,
But the feeling of home is always here.
Every fence post, pasture, and winding lane
Calls me back again and again.

Now I call it my ranch, my heart, my pride,
With the same old barn still standing by my side.
Through storms and sunshine, joy and strife,
This place has been the foundation of my life.

There may be prettier places that others roam,
But nothing compares to coming home.
For where my roots run deep and my memories start,
This old barn and ranch will forever hold my heart.

And just like that, our foaling season for 2026 has come to an end!

Cricket blessed us with a beautiful bay roan AQHA stud c**t! Both mom and baby are doing great!
