We have a WINNER!! It was 2 Guinea Pigs for nail trims.

What’s in the BOX??

First one to answer correctly wins a Newton Falls Animal Hospital Swag Cup!
(Owner please don’t give it away. ☺️)

Hint…….. it is an open box, what’s on the box has nothing to do with what’s inside.

We recommend all dogs and cats stay current on their core vaccines, which protect against the most common and dangerous diseases.
Here are just a few important vaccines your pet may need:
🐶 For Dogs:
• Rabies Required by law in most states, the rabies vaccine protects against a deadly virus that can be spread to humans.
• Distemper, Parvovirus & Adenovirus (DAPP) - A combo vaccine that protects against highly contagious and life-threatening diseases.
• Leptospirosis - A bacterial infection that can spread to humans and is especially common in active or outdoor dogs.
🐱 For Cats:
• Rabies - Essential even for indoor cats, as exposure can still happen.
• FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia) - A must-have combo vaccine that protects against several severe respiratory and gastrointestinal diseases.
• FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) - Recommended for kittens and cats with outdoor access.
🐾Don't wait until it's too late. Keeping your pet vaccinated is an easy way to ensure they live a longer, healthier life, giving you peace of mind.
Schedule your pet's vaccine appointment today and keep them protected year-round.

Reasoms to leave your cats carrier out all the time like a nice hide away cave for them.

🐾 it won’t be a new object (cats are leary of
New things in the room)
🐾 it will smell like the rest of the house (not
Like the basement or barn)
🐾 blanket inside will have their scent on it
🐾 it won’t have a negative attachment (like
Cat only going in it to come to vet)
🐾 2 uses, carrier and bed 🥰

Many cats coming to the vet are scared, they don’t have to be. If their carrier is in a common place with a blanket in it, it’s like bringing a piece of home with them. If you drag the carrier from the barn, put in a clean blanket and put your cat in it, you just took them from the safe/comfort of home into a scary box. They smell the barn (possibly other cats, rodents and outside), they smell your laundry detergent. Then put in a car where everything is moving fast and finally into the vet office where there are dogs barking and a ton of different scents.
