We understand that sometimes surrendering a pet feels like the only option—and we’re here to help.

That’s why we have an owner surrender and rehoming resource on our website. It includes tools to help you find a new home for your pet before bringing them to the shelter, including our Home to Home page where you can connect directly with potential adopters.

Our goal is to keep pets out of the shelter when possible and help them move straight into a new home. If you have questions or need help navigating the process, we’re here for you every step of the way.

If shelter dogs had dating profiles, let’s be honest… they’d probably take a few notes from Tinder and Bumble.

A little exaggeration here, leaving out a detail there—“loves long walks” (sometimes), “great with others” (depends on the vibe). We all know how it goes.

But the truth is, our shelter animals don’t need perfect profiles to be worth loving. They just need someone willing to see them for who they are—quirks, personality, and all.

No filters needed when it’s the real thing.

Not all of our most-needed items are what you’d expect.

Beyond food and toys, there are plenty of unconventional supplies that help keep our shelter running and our animals comfortable every day. It’s often the little things you wouldn’t think about that make the biggest difference.
