Meet JJ. 🐾
(Yes, she’s real. No, she’s not a small horse—we checked.)

JJ is a 1-year-old Great Dane who started life convinced everything was trying to kill her…
including doorways, car rides, and probably the concept of Tuesdays.

Before coming to us, JJ had never:
❌ Been to a vet
❌ Walked on a leash
❌ Been in a car

So when we say her first day was rough…
we mean R O U G H.

Picture this:

100 pounds of pure, unfiltered panic.
Total system overload.
And a very large, very terrified dog needing to be carried into the vet
like a baby deer who pays no bills but still causes emotional damage.

We wish we were exaggerating.
We are not. 😅

BUT THEN—

✨✨ CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT ✨✨

This girl really said,
“okay but what if the world…isn’t actually terrible???”

And proceeded to have the most incredible glow-up.

Now??

JJ is happy, social, confident, and fully living her best life.

✔️ Loves kids
✔️ Good with cats
✔️ Dog-friendly
✔️ Walks on a leash like it didn’t personally offend her once upon a time
✔️ Crate naps like a pro (on an orthopedic bed, obviously—she has standards now)

She went from:
“The world is ending”

To:
“Where are we going and why am I not already in the car???”

And let’s address the real issue—

JJ is a problem.

Because you will not go anywhere without hearing:

“OH MY GOD LOOK AT THAT DOG”
“Is that a Great Dane???”
“Can I pet her???”
“Wow she’s BEAUTIFUL!!”

You? Invisible.
JJ? Celebrity.

We’re just preparing you. 😌

JJ is the definition of resilience.
She just needed patience, love, and someone to show her the world wasn’t so scary.

Now she’s ready for her forever home—
one that will keep building her confidence, embrace her giant goofball energy,
and maybe…invest in a bigger couch.

Because she will take all of it.

Google Maps says 3 hours and 32 minutes and Monte could be your forever

💔 Meet Monte… and his whole world just changed.

Monte is just a baby, less than a year old and already he’s lost the only home he knew.

A young man brought him to us, heartbroken, because his landlord said Monte had to go. No time.
No options.
Just goodbye.

And now here he is… sitting, waiting, trying to understand why everything feels different.

Monte is a Lab mix, and he is as sweet as they come.
🐾 Friendly with everyone
🐾 Pays no mind to cats or other dogs
🐾 Just wants someone to love him

He’s not asking for much… just a couch to sit on again, a hand to rest his head under, and a person who won’t leave.
