How amazing is this?! The Scott Township Park - Vanderburgh Co. Indiana did a wonderful job building the two benches we were able to sponsor. They are now placed and ready to be enjoyed by the community for years to come while reminiscing on memories of their furbabies.

Also, thank you SO much to our clients that have placed their trust into us over the years. Because of you we were able to do this. Giving back to our community and supporting local is always one of our top priorities.

Thank goodness!!

Right after it was announced she got the maximum sentence she could I got to see one of the dogs who was able to make it out alive from that horror situation. It was such an amazing moment to love on that pup for just a moment, seeing how extremely happy and loved she is, and to know SO many people were speaking up for her and the others. Justice was served sweet girl!

Now onto the moms sentencing in July.

Today we testified in the sentencing of Shayna Burko. Though no sentence is enough for what these animals have endured, she was sentenced to 4 years in prison, which is the maximum amount for the charges against her.

We want to give a huge shout out to Prosecuting Attorney Jon Schaefer for caring enough and doing a phenomenal job in court today! We also want to thank Judge Granger for valuing the lives of animals and not allowing someone who continues to abuse and neglect animals off with a slap on the wrist 🐾 ❤️

Thank you to all the animal lovers and other shelters for showing up today and making a difference!

Today we learned the heartbreaking news that Mr Louie passed away. Louie was such a sweet and very loved boy. He was always a favorite familiar face to care for and it just won’t feel the same without him. Louie loved his food, loved his scratches, and if you stopped petting too soon he’d let you know with a little swat for more love. He had so much personality and was so deeply loved. You will be missed more than words can say Louie! 🌈😞🐾
