We have last minute availability of a black male puppy. Available to go home March 7th.

A little about the parents:

Ray is a fantastic marking dog, hard charging in the field, and really calm and collected at the line. He has explosive energy once he’s sent, and its fun to watch him run. When he’s not actively working, he is a very calm boy who loves to be close to his handler. He has a strong, athletic build with a big blocky head and very solid bone structure.
Raymond achieved his HRCH title just prior to turning two years old with a perfect pass rate through both seasoned and finished tests.

Charlie is fire breathing dragon in the field who has no quit in her. In the blind she is quiet and constantly on the lookout for the next birds. At just 48 pounds she handles large Canada geese with the best of them. She has a ton of natural ability and a keen nose. She is a very strong marking dog with a willingness to dive headfirst into the nastiest cover to dig out a bird. At home she is gentle and loving doing great with toddlers and infants. She’s confident in any environment and has never met a stranger. Charlie is currently 1 seasoned pass away from earning her HR title with the UKC.

Puppies will come with a 26 month health guarantee.

Looking for your next hunting partner but don’t want to deal with potty training and crate training?

Lottie, born July 2nd, is almost 5 months old. We kept her back from our last litter for training and he’s an amazing puppy, confident and eager to please.

She’s crate trained, potty trained, and proficient at heel work, sit, place, recall, and loves to retrieve. She has the potential to be an excellent hunting dog with continued training. Only hunting homes considered. Please reach out for more information!

We spent the afternoon at Haymarsh Hunt Club with our friend Charlie and his Griffon, Frankie!

Scarlet and Jenni walked at heel for a majority of the hunt and Magnolia flushed all of the birds Frankie pointed and a few while she was quartering. All of the girls did excellent!

I, Morgan, have been struggling to hit birds so it felt really good to connect with 3 roosters today! We love getting out and watching the dogs do what they love!

Ope, black duck.

Jenni picked up a pretty special bird for me this morning. A black duck has always been a target species for me since I started hunting. The first few years I never saw one and then I found a spot back in 2019 that routinely holds black ducks. Since then it has been a struggle. More than a dozen good opportunities missed due to dud shells, gun jamming, and poor shooting. I’ve had buddies kill black ducks in the spot and I even killed a black duck x mallard hybrid a few years ago but this morning I was finally able to cross that species off the list. I’m so grateful that my first black duck was in this particular spot and I was using my favorite gun, an old browning sweet 16. Needless to say he’ll end up on the wall.

Back to that grind!

Got out for Michigan early season opener with retired FTCh Oscar and Charlie (Red x Libby) this morning. Low bird numbers and birds not cooperating made for a quick morning and limited action but it’s always fun sharing the field with some nice dogs. Thanks for the invite and getting us on birds.
