✨Sweet Serendipity✨

💎2021 Titled BLM Mustang Mare
💎14.1hh
💎Nevada Wild Horse Range HMA
🥇2022 Fort Worth Youth EMM Champion

This one hurts a bit, but I’m offering one of my personal mustangs up for sale. Sweet Serendipity was my draw for the 2022 Fort Worth Youth EMM, where we won the championship. I have been working with her since she was a yearling, and she has a solid foundation —riding, groundwork, and at liberty. Serendipity is one of the kindest horses I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. She gets along well with other horses, and loves any attention she can get.

Serendipity is broke to ride. She would be well suited for an intermediate rider. I started her under saddle at the beginning of this year, so she will still need someone with some experience to move forward with her training, since. She has a solid mind and only needs someone to put more hours in the saddle on her. If you’re looking for a work horse with a lot of get-up-and-go, this is not the horse for you. Serendipity is perfectly content plodding around with zero urgency. She is the same horses in and out of the arena. I’ve taken her over obstacles, wide open fields, and trails and although she keeps a level head through it all. She has the most comfortable trot and lope, and would make a great partner to hit the trails with.

Serendipity also has a wonderful liberty foundation! She will walk, trot, and canter at the shoulder as well as on liberty circles. She also has a Spanish Walk, and excellent body control.

I honestly never planned to sell Serendipity, but I’m not able to give her the attention she craves and deserves. She is very special to me and I’m only offering her up because I’m trying to narrow down my personal herd so I can chase some bigger goals of mine 💪

Serendipity is UTD on dental, farrier, deworming, and has a current negative coggins. She is a very easy keeper and needs to be kept off grass in the summer time. I keep her in my dry lot and have her on a low-sugar/ low-starch diet. She is not foundered.

Never stop learning!

I’ve been working on developing a few new skills. One of them is learning new knots and braids, so I can start creating handmade tack.

Here is my practice piece from today ⬇️
At the top is a 10-strand Matthew Walker knot, and I did a Crocodile Ridge braid with the extra strands of rope.

8 years with Godiva 🤍

Gosh I love this gray mare. This is the horse that carried me through 4H, every clinic, show, and “phase” I went through from ages 10 to 15. Now she’s one of my solid liberty horses, and the kindest, most nurturing horse in my pasture. She’s probably done a little bit of every discipline, and is my go to when I just need to sit with a horse to decompress.

I owe this horse so much. Thank you, Godiva, for being little Avery’s dream horse.

Thank you, Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue, Inc., for all you do for these rescue horses.

A hard horse doesn’t need a harder human.
They need someone steady.

Horses in fear, confusion, or pressure are looking for leadership they can trust. The easy route is frustration. The better route is patience, clarity, and consistency.

Real grit isn’t losing your temper.
Real grit is staying calm enough to help the horse find peace.

Faith teaches us that growth often happens slowly — both in horses and in ourselves.

Have you ever had a horse humble you in the best way?

Not a horse post…. But I finally got video evidence of the birds attacking my cat, so people can stop thinking we’re crazy.

Can someone please tell me what could be causing this behavior? 😅
My cat has been living in constant fear of these birds for about two weeks. Is this normal? Should I intervene?! 😂

We have several barn cats and Aladdin is the only one they go after🤷‍♀️

Lil Miss Tater was so good tonight at the play day! It was her first time being ridden off property and she handled the environment so well.

So proud of this pretty girl💛
Thank you, Cindy Rudes, for trusting me with your girl!

Amelia is becoming quite the little rider! I let her ride Kiwi yesterday and they both did great! I started Kiwi undersaddle at the beginning of March. This was her first time with a different rider 💚

Thank you to my friend, Hannah, for trusting me with your pony!
