But breakfast is supposed to be NOW! 😂🐱⏰

Daylight Saving Time may change the clocks, but try explaining that to the cat. Their stomach is still running on yesterday’s schedule! 😹

⏰🐾 Clocks Fall Back… But Your Pets Didn’t Get the Memo! 😂

Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, November 1, and while we’re dreaming of an extra hour of sleep, our pets are already planning breakfast at the usual time! 🐶🐱

Because let’s face it… your dog doesn’t care what the clock says, and your cat DEFINITELY isn’t waiting another hour to eat! 🤣

A few tips to make the transition easier:

🐾 Gradually adjust feeding and walking times.
🐾 Keep daily routines consistent.
🐾 Provide plenty of exercise and enrichment.
🐾 Be patient with those early wake-up calls!

❤️ A little patience goes a long way when their internal clocks are adjusting.

💬 Be honest… who’s REALLY in charge of the morning alarm clock at your house? You or your pet? 😂

🐈‍⬛🖤 Black cats bring good luck, not bad luck!

These gorgeous little panthers have been misunderstood for centuries, but there’s nothing spooky about their love, charm, and larger-than-life personalities!

With Halloween approaching, keep your feline friends safe by keeping them indoors, away from candy and open flames, and giving them a cozy spot to escape the trick-or-treating chaos. 🏡🐾

✨ Fun fact: In Scottish folklore, a black cat appearing on your doorstep was considered a sign of prosperity!

Celebrate these beautiful kitties today and every day. After all, the only thing unlucky about a black cat is not having one! 🖤

Remember the beautiful marigold bridge in Disney-Pixar’s Coco? 🌼✨

The movie celebrates Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead), a cherished Mexican tradition honoring loved ones who have passed.

But did you know our beloved pets get to come home first? 🐶🐱🌈

According to a beautiful pet-remembrance tradition, on the evening of October 27, our departed pets are believed to cross the marigold bridge and visit their families until sunrise on October 28. 🌼🐾

Just imagine those familiar paws finding their way home to the people who never stopped loving them. ❤️

Right here on Staten Island, Pleasant Plains Animal Hospital South has created a beautiful pet memorial ofrenda, inviting its clients to honor pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge with their photographs. The display will remain through November 1. 🕯️🌼

What a touching tribute to the unconditional love our pets bring into our lives. Thank you, Pleasant Plains Animal Hospital South 💕

Because, as Coco reminds us, as long as someone is remembered, they are never truly gone. ❤️🐾
