Puppy falling from the sky....

Beware of this dangerous plant. It looks unremarkable but can have serious consequences to our woofers!!
It's warming up and Foxtails are showing up all over. BEWARE!!
These things are very dangerous for your pets. The little spiky pods can travel through nasal passages, through the p***s or v***a and kill a pet. They literally work their way in once they get an opening and can travel through the body causing severe damage along the way. When I worked at the vets I saw several animals suffer and die over them. Clear them out of your yards, do not let them sniff around them on walks-one good SNIFF and right up the nasal passages they go and have to be scoped out if you can manage to catch it in time.
