Wizz, all of these moments aren’t close to what we wish we had…
Wizard first came to daycare at a few months old. We got to watch that little puppy grow into a strong, confident girl, and we never imagined we’d be saying goodbye so soon.
She had such a special way about her. So powerful, yet so gentle with the dogs and people around her. Wizz didn’t give her trust away immediately. You had to earn it, patiently and on her terms. And when she let you in, you understood just how sweet she was.
She had her favorite friends at daycare and, of course, her boyfriend, Frankie. We’ll miss seeing those two together. We’ll miss her playing, being her happy, adorable self, and being part of our everyday lives.
To her owners, who gave her all the love and care a dog could ever ask for: thank you for trusting us with your girl since she was so little. We know how much she meant to you. She meant so much to us, too.
These are some of our team’s favorite moments with Wizz. Looking through them makes us smile, even while we’re hurting.
