Sugar had her vet appointment yesterday to check on her heart, and her general health. I saw that her abdomen was swollen and I was expecting an egg. While she was sitting on my shoulder as I spoke with the veterinarian, she laid her egg! Well, half of it anyway. The second half came out a few seconds later. I'd never seen an egg like it: it was coated in a layer of white slimy stuff on top of the thin shell. Sorry, no photo.

Bird dinner of farro, quinoa, carrots, sweet potatoes, kale, red and green peppers, pasta, and beets. Must remember that they had beets when I see their poopers!

Echo seems to be a mooch, too. I ate breakfast with him today, and he wanted some of my cereal. He got a couple pieces. I guess I'll be eating some Harrison's. I faked eating a piece, and he ate one, too. I guess that's one way to convert.
