Love these lazy, hazy days of summer. When its hot, its hot, but oh those cool mornings , Sight breeze, and just a whiff of autumn in the air..Canadian geese waddling in fields and drive ways, Wild turkeys scurring around with their chicks and our horses are soaking up the sun and enjoying their companions passing thru.

Not sure Blue and Pokey were cuddling or sparring.
Both were majectic in their interactions and a pure joy to watch. Even though they were muddy from all the rain, i thought they were still beautiful.
All the horses are loving the last few weeks of a mild winter. I know cold winds are stirring and will soon breathe their frost and snow across our farm, but I am just enjoying the moment .

During these frigid temperatures, I hope everyone was home snuggle warm. Our horses were all nestled in their stalls and settled in for the night. I know they much perfer to be outside running , they love playing in the snow. Thanks April for the pictures. Merry Christmas everyone. Stay safe, warm , and healthy

Our world is full of upheavals, sufferings, and problems, but today our farm was a place of beauty, calmness, and peace. The snow was so beautiful.
It was so quiet, relaxing, and pure joy to behold. I never get over watching our horses in the snow. My dog Raven has a little fun too. I am also ready for a warm fireplace and a good book. Stay warm everyone

Went outside this morning and took in a breathe of crisp cool air, saw the beauty of the dew on the grass, and marveled at the site of our horses grazing peacefully in the fields. The stillness of the morning, the hush of birds chirping, the mist lingering on the hills, covered me in a cloke of peace , calm, and pure joy as i walked our farm . I see beauty in all things and know that i have truly been blessed. I see autumn tip toeing around, splashing colors everywhere, the changing of the guard. I am in awe!!!!.

Summer heat is still smothering, stiffling, Hot! Hot! Hot! Flies are still a nuisance, but we had some exciting things happening on the farm.
A new sign welcomes our boarders. But most importantly, we have two new boarders. Meet Lily, classy and gentle , such a sweetheart. Handsome Zeus, also gentle, is well mannered and reserved. Both horses and their boarders specialize in cowboy mounted shooting competition. It is a pleasure watching them workout .
Fall is right around the corner . I am looking forward to milder temperatures and mother nature's display of magnificent colors. Everyone try and stay cool and be safe.

Boy, is it hot! Not only does Pokey like to play in the water ( A battle with the water hose), but, Raven loves the water too! Fly masks are going on to battle the flies, and tails are twirling and twitching to keep them away.
In the next few months, we will have two openings at our barn, contact me for information.

Grass is green, days are hot, Flies are back!!!!! Our equine friends are doing great. Their owners are brushing, spraying, trimming, washing, giving them their feed and supplements. JUST A REGULAR DAY AT THE SPA. A SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE ANIMAL WARRIORS WHO LOOK AFTER AND CARE FOR THE ANIMALS THAT SHARE THIS BEAUTIFUL PLANET WITH US.

Hello my horse loving friends. One of our boarders moved to Florida and could not take her horse with her. We are looking for a forever home for Dancer, a spotted saddlebred. 14.3 hands. The owner is asking $1200 for Dancer. The horse is located in New Salisbury In. Please share this post in hopes we can find her a good home.

We have the cutest cowgirl riding her horse. Love her style, Love her smile, and she rocks those boots. Way to go Houstyn.
Then in 24 hours winter decided to make a grand entrance with sleet, ice and snow. Our horses love this weather, They are majestic to watch when playing in the snow. Everyone drive safe and stay warm.
