URGENT NOTICE! I just got the official report... All of Santa's reindeer have passed preflight checks, health papers for travel have been issued by the head Elf Veterinarian and Elf Flight Control has cleared Santa for all his flight plans for Southern Indiana. I just got off the phone with the Lead Flight Control Elf and they said they are outfitting the reindeer with extra rain coats in case of rain. The communications on the radio said they should have the sleigh loaded in a few hours and are running AHEAD OF SCHEDULE! Mrs Clause has said that Santa is wearing his good SUPER RED RAIN RESISTANT SUIT. He was spotted over the clinic in his helicopter last night doing his preflight run. All of Santa's Gear has been checked and double checked. Elf maintenance said their new CHILD SLEEP DETECTOR has been installed, so if kids aren't in bed by their parents bedtime they know to pass on over the house. This will reduce Santa's Delays so he can get to all the Good Kids that are asleep in their beds. This will be a game changer for all the Good little boys and girls to get a very Merry Christmas this year! I have given Elf Flight Control my emergency number, so if there are any problems with the reindeer DownHome Veterinary Clinic will be ready to help Santa keep on schedule. I also heard from my inside Elf at NORAD that Santa is already out doing warm up runs around the globe! So if you catch a twinkle in the sky it's Santa doing his warm up run! Thought everyone would want to know!!!! Merry Christmas to you, your family, and fur kids!!! Dr. Hinder and Family. P.s. I will try to keep you all updated as the day/night goes on!

Santa status update: Donner lost his jingle bells somewhere in the Depauw area but fortunately we had some replacements for him so Santa's back on track. Santa did say that if any kids weren't in bed yet that he might have to skip their house until later so they better get on in bed. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION
During completion of his education, Dr. Hinder chose to take a broader path. After completing a bachelors degree at Indiana University - Southeast; Dr. Hinder chose to embark on completing his Veterinary Education in the Caribbean. This educational opportunity afforded Dr. Hinder a diverse view on animal disease, welfare, and animal care issues on a more global scale. Dr. Hinder finished his basic studies in the Caribbean and his clinical rotations at Oklahoma State University.
RETURNING HOME
Although Dr. Hinder has had a lifelong dream of returning home to practice; he decided to first broaden his horizons through other oportunities. Dr. Hinder practiced in Oregon, Washington and Illinois before returning to his hometown. He was afforded the opportunity to work on exotic animals as well as treat animal ailments that are not seen in this area. Although glad to be home, he wouldn't trade the travels and adventures that got him back 'DownHome' for anything.
