Black Philanthropy Month BackBlack

07/30/2026

The Legacy House was created to celebrate the everyday philanthropists and changemakers who have always invested in our communities, often without recognition, applause, or the title of “philanthropist.”

Because long before philanthropy became an institution, it lived in our homes, our neighborhoods, and our traditions.

We believe those stories deserve to be remembered.

And more importantly, they deserve to continue.

Still not over it! Reminiscing on the joy, wisdom and love that was in the room at our Welcome Social.

Thank you, again to our host and amazing panelists and Kieta for sharing their expertise and insights on what’s needed for Black women to thrive. We hit it all - sexual health, maternal health, and wellbeing because all of these work in concert.

Special thank you to our host
Food vendors x Media team and Lead event sponsor provided our speakers with beautiful curated bags from her store and crafted a special room spray for our guests.
