Lazy J's Dog Boarding Kennel Spoiling area pets since 1997. Private and personal care. Lazy J's Doggie Spa has been dedicated to the care of area pets since 1997.

It is a small private boarding kenl with only 7 huge kenls available. Owner resides on the premises so there is 24 hour supervision. Everything is done by appointment and appointments are taken 7 days a week from 7am - 6pm - 5pm on sundays. Call for prices and to schedule a visit for you and your furbaby.

It's Rainbow Bridge day. These are all my dogs waiting at the bridge for me. Harley is the reason i left the city and opened a kenl in the country. He is my heart dog for sure. Millie was the perfect country bumpkin. i have loved them all and miss every single one of them.

Yummy easy peasy treat recipe:

Ingredients:

2 medium sweet potatoes (peeled, boiled or microwaved until soft, then mashed)
1/2 cup natural peanut butter (check label to ensure no xylitol or artificial sweeteners)
1/2 cup rolled oats (blend into a fine oat flour)

Instructions

Heat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Put the mashed sweet potatoes in a large bowl. Add the peanut butter and stir until smooth. Mix in the oat flour slowly until a soft dough forms. Press the dough flat onto your baking sheet to about 1/4-inch thickness. Slice the dough into chewable strips or rectangles with a pizza cutter.Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until firm.Cool completely before feeding your dog.

Storage - Keep in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 7 days.Freeze for up to 3 months.
