Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day is observed annually on August 28th 🐾💜 A day to honor, remember, and celebrate the pets who have left pawprints on our hearts forever. It also services as a dedicated day for pet owners to share their memories and find comfort in others who have known the love of a pet.

🐱 Products We Love: Cat Carriers! 🐱

In honor of Take Your Cat to the Vet Day that was celebrated over the weekend (August 22), we’re highlighting a few features we love in a good cat carrier! 💙

We recommend sturdy, hard-sided carriers with tops that are easy to remove. A removable top allows our veterinary team to examine your cat more comfortably—without having to pull them out of their safe space.

We also love options like the Calm Carrier by Van Ness and Sleepypod carriers.

📏 Size matters! Your cat’s carrier should be large enough for them to stand, turn around, and lie down comfortably—but not so large that they slide around during travel.

🚫 We recommend avoiding flimsy, soft-sided carriers that don’t provide adequate support, as well as carriers that are difficult to open or don’t allow easy access to your cat.

A comfortable, cat-friendly carrier can make the trip to the vet a little easier for everyone! 🐾💙

Today is National Black Cat Day! 🖤 This day was created to celebrate the black cats, raise awareness about their low adoption rates, and dispel negative notions about bad luck. So lets celebrate the beautiful black cats in our lives and share how these perfect little shadows actually brighten our days.

Perfect Little Shadows

In shadows sleek, they softly glide,
With velvet paws, a graceful stride.
Fur a canvas of midnight’s grace,
Each silent step, a whispered trace.

Eyes like lanterns, gold and green,
Whisper secrets, sly and keen.
They weave through dreams on silken thread,
With every purr, a tale unsaid.

With playful pounce, they springs with glee,
Chasing the stars, as they dance and flee.
A flick of the tail, a mischievous glance,
In their enchanting world, we all find chance.

So here’s to the cats in shadow dress,
A spirit of magic, forever bless.
In every heart, they leave a mark,
A black cat’s charm ignites a spark.
