Our foster Clover is officially going home!
One of the things we love most at SkyDance is helping rescue dogs find their forever families, but this one feels especially close to our hearts.
A few weeks ago, the Smith family reached out to tell us they were considering adopting another dog. For many years, we had the privilege of caring for their sweet girl, Flicka. She spent countless vacations with us and, over the years, became a dog that so many of our team members knew and loved. When Flicka recently passed away, our hearts broke right alongside her family.
When the Smiths mentioned they were ready to open their hearts again, we immediately thought of Clover. They stopped in for a visit, and watching them together, we knew Clover had found her family.
At SkyDance, we often talk about being a partner in pet parenthood. Moments like this are what that truly means to us. We were honored to be part of Flicka's life for so many years, and now we get to watch Clover begin her own journey with the same wonderful family.
There is something incredibly special about caring for multiple generations of pets for the same family. It is one of the greatest privileges of what we do.
