Waggy Tails Bed & Breakfast We are serving up fun all day and sweet dreams at night. Dog sitting in our home. They can play all The name Waggy Tails is for my 3 dogs who always have them.

Hi my name is Vicki and I am taking my love for animals one step further by offering up our home for doggie vacations. Your not the only ones who need a getaway, dogs need to have fun too! Whether they are standing by the door to go out, come in, or they just want a treat, they're tails are always wagging. Here at Waggy Tails your dogs will get playtime, rest time, and lots of TLC. We have a fully

fenced in yard for playtime and there is never more than 2 dogs at a time here, so they all get one on one attention. We have a separate doggie suite for your dog(s) to stay while we are out. When we are home they may roam the house with our pack. We require a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure everyone gets along. All dogs must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered. A bordetella vaccine is a must. They must be house trained as well as dog and people friendly. All dogs must also be on flea/tick prevention. I am a volunteer with animal rescues for the past 20 years walking, feeding, and socializing the dogs. I also co-founded an animal rescue, and have fostered many dogs in our home. I have experience with all types of dogs. I am also certified in Pet First Aide and CPR.

Anybody? Seniors are the best! Oh how I wish but we just adopted a senior. There must be at least one follower or better yet a client that can give this sweetheart a home. 🥺

A personal plea from one of our staff:

“There’s nothing more left to do but accept the truth. Cooper is probably never going to leave the rescue.
Nobody wants an old dog. He’s not small, he’s got some bumps and lots of frosty fur surrounding his soulful eyes. One can only imagine the things Cooper has seen in his hey day. But younger, smaller dogs are something he just can’t compete with. It’s sad enough Cooper lost his mom when her health failed, and now it is painfully obvious there’s just no place for him. So day after day for the past year and a half, he quietly sits in a kennel surrounded by the loud echoes of the other dogs constantly barking around him. Cooper sits on his bed and just waits until it’s his turn to go out. To get a break from the monotonous noise. And it’s not like we aren’t trying to find him a family. He attends every adoption event. He mingles with the other dogs and greets new faces politely. They oooh and ahhh over him but we know what they are thinking. They aren’t even pretending to consider taking him home.
Maybe this post is a rant. Maybe it’s just my sadness and frustration knowing what a superb dog Cooper is and he won’t even be given a chance.
Cooper is with us at Posh Pets Rescue in Long Beach NY. This is likely the only “home” he is going to know for the rest of his life. I’m sorry Coopy. I so wish I could do more because you deserve so much more. 🥺”
