Little Millie is now available for adoption y’all! This absolutely adorable senior girl will def keep you on your toes and is dog selective in that there are not many dogs she likes in this world so the chances are slim that one you have she may like 😆 But she is cute as a dang button and loves people and did we mention she is cute??? 🥰

Mille is not spayed and unfortunately cannot be spayed-we have seen a specialist and she does have a stage 3 collapsed larynx which means she cannot go under anesthesia. BUT with careful consideration of her environment she can live a nice, long life!

Cracker Jack is a 2-year-old sweetheart who’s looking for a family to call his own. This lovable boy’s favorite spot is curled up next to you on the couch, where he’s happiest just being close. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, and we think he’d do just fine with kids too.

Cracker Jack is kennel trained and well on his way with potty training—he just needs a little extra help right now, so he wears a belly band while he learns. Don’t let that stop you though—his gentle, affectionate personality more than makes up for it!

Cracker Jack is a super sweet companion who’s ready to bring love, snuggles, and joy into his forever home. ❤️

Our Story

Pet & House Sitting- I began my passion for animals at a very young age, saving small animals from my family cat Taffe, to talking to just about every single animal I came in contact with, every animal I came across I felt deserved to be loved and respected.. Then in Junior High I began saving stray dogs that I would find dumped in our neighborhood and doing what I could to find them good homes. That passion continued onto High School where I volunteered at our local Humane Society all during high school and was honored by working my way up the volunteer laddeer.I knew that aniamls deserved a good life and to be with good families. I completely enjoyed and treasured, my time working for the humane Society and knew that my life would always be involved working with animals.

Once I moved to east nashville,I wanted very much to expand my working with animals and intertwine it with helping people. I began by working for local Rescues and doing Foster work and I took my passion to the next level and PAWS & HANDS began in 2007 It has continued to be a way for me to work with animals of all types and also help people. I am completely enjoying running PAWS & HANDS and I’m very happy with the lives it has touched.This will always be part of my lifes work..
