We’re so grateful to the PEDIGREE Foundation and Humane World for Animals for supporting access to care in our community! 💚

This funding lets us expand our financial assistance program for wellness exams by waiving office visit fees to now include: veterans and active military, individuals experiencing homelessness, pet owners 65 years and older, and college and trade school students.

Qualifying pet owners can also receive free chill medication for anxious dogs and cats!

Big wins for community cats! 🐾

Earlier this year, thanks to generous funding from the United Spay Alliance and the Summerlee Foundation, PCC’s Community Cat Program launched the Antioch Pilot Project — stepping in to help an Antioch mobile home community overwhelmed by unsterilized outdoor cats.

With an amazing team of dedicated volunteer trappers by our side, here’s what we accomplished together:

✅ 96 community cats sterilized + vaccinated
✅ 20 indoor pet cats sterilized, vaccinated + microchipped
✅ 24 cats treated for illness
✅ 8 cats given dental care

During this project alone, we prevented an estimated 12 new litters from being born — helping stabilize the outdoor cat population and giving this community’s cats healthier lives.

This is what’s possible when funding, volunteers, and community come together. 🙌

🐾 BIG NEWS: Thanks to a generous grant from Metro Nashville, Davidson County households earning under $80,000/year can now have their dog or cat spayed or neutered for just $30, including a rabies vaccination. 🐾

Spaying and neutering not only prevents unwanted litters, but it reduces health risks, and keeps our community’s pets healthier overall. This generous Metro grant makes that care accessible to families who qualify.

If you have skinny pill bottles (long or short) that are opaque, empty, cleaned, and label-free — please drop them off at the clinic during business hours (Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm) 💙💚

Take a look at June’s Stella’s Drive-Thru Pet Food Pantry! 🐾 Each month, families can drive up and pick up free pet food without leaving their car. In June alone, we delivered over 1 ton of free pet food to pets and families in our community!

We’re honored to share that Pet Community Center (PCC) recently received the 2026 Championship Belt from Humane World for Animals, the highest recognition awarded to a Pets for Life program nationwide! 🏆

For more than 11 years, PCC has brought veterinary care directly to Nashville’s veterinary deserts, ensuring pets receive the care they need regardless of income or transportation. This award recognizes our commitment to community-centered care and the trusted relationships we’ve built with the families we serve.
