Looking for low-cost vet care?🖤

New appointments are officially open! As part of our expanded community clinics, Nashville Humane will continue hosting weekday clinics for spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchips. Appointments are required for all weekday clinics, and walk-ups are not accepted.

And don’t worry, our monthly Saturday clinic is still offered. Details and appointments for August 15th coming soon!

Miley has an important question...

Do you have room for one more stuffie at your house?🧸

Because if you do, she'd like to bring a few of her own!

Squeaky toys are Miley's absolute favorite. She proudly carries them around, happily showing them off to anyone who will admire them (bonus points if you tell her what a good choice she made).

All Miley really wants is someone to share life's little joys with. A basket of toys, a cozy place to nap, and a family to love.

And we hope the next time Miley picks up her favorite stuffie, it's in a home of her own.🩷

Your pets are counting on you to help them beat the heat. With temperatures continuing to climb, it's unsafe for them to stay outside for extended periods of time.

Keep outdoor trips short, make sure they always have fresh water and shade, and bring them inside where it's cool. They'll thank you for it.💛

Most people who visit Nashville Humane will never see this wall.

It's tucked away behind the scenes, where only our staff and volunteers pass by each day.

Every month, we add the faces of the animals who found homes.

To someone else, it might just look like a collection of photos. But to us, it's a reminder.

Animal welfare is incredibly rewarding, but it's also really hard. There are days that leave us physically exhausted. Days that are emotionally heavy. Days when it feels like we can never do enough.

Then we walk past this wall.

Every face represents a life changed. A family made whole. A second chance that became a loving home.

It reminds us why we keep showing up. Why every kennel cleaned, every medical treatment, every foster home, every volunteer shift, and every adoption matters.

Since starting this last year, every adoption at Nashville Humane now becomes part of this wall. And we can't wait to see whose face we'll be adding next.❤️

Whether your dog could use a refresher on the basics, better leash manners, calmer greetings, or help staying focused, we've got a class for you.

Our small-group classes are fun, supportive, and designed to fit real life, because learning should be rewarding for both ends of the leash.
