The 3-3-3 Rule for Rescue Dogs 🐶

When bringing home a rescue dog, it’s important to remember that adjustment takes time.
🐾 3 days to decompress
🐾 3 weeks to learn the routine
🐾 3 months to truly feel at home

During those first few days or weeks, your new pup may seem nervous, shy, overwhelmed, or even completely different than expected — and that’s okay. They’re learning to trust, feel safe, and understand their new world.

Patience, consistency, and love can completely change a rescue dog’s life.
