📣 It's our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! 🎊

One year ago today, we opened the doors of NBV and we couldn't be happier to celebrate. Thank you to EVERYONE who has welcomed and supported us these past 365 days, we are so grateful. 🙏🏥

🏡 Keep them indoors
🚫😎 No sunglasses or solar eclipse glasses for them
🩷 Create a comfortable space
🧘 Stay calm...this experience could cause them anxiety and they pick up on our emotions

Treat this event the same way you would for thunderstorms or fireworks, making sure they have a safe and secure space indoors.

⚠️ 📣 Easter goodies are fun for the humans in the family, but can be harmful to your pets. Here's what to watch out for...

🍫 Chocolate: contains theobromine and is toxic to your pets and can cause rapid heart rate, vomiting and diarrhea
🌿 Easter grass: plastics in the grass are harmful as well and can cause a GI obstruction
🥐 Hot Cross Buns: the raisins and currants are toxic and should not be ingested
💐 Lillies: Cats tend towards ingesting toxic plants, so keep them away because it can cause kidney failure

In honor of February being Spay/Neuter Awareness Month, Casper has kindly volunteered to be our "poster pup" for the cause. Casper was neutered at Narrowsburg Vet this week and he was a wonderful patient. 🐶🏥🩺

Not only does spaying and neutering 🐈️🐕️ help control the pet population, but it also leads to our furry friends living longer healthier lives. 🐾🤎
