We have some exciting news to share! 🐾

Patty Baker Humane Society Naples was recently recognized as a 2026 Foster 50 Pathfinder Award recipient, receiving a $7,500 grant from the PEDIGREE Foundation!

During the Foster 50 Challenge, we welcomed 90 new fosters into our program!

This recognition celebrates the work our team has put into growing our foster program and creating more opportunities for animals to experience life outside the shelter.

A HUGE thank you to our incredible foster families, staff, and community for making this possible! Every foster home makes a difference, and we're so excited to keep growing!

Check out the full announcement from Maddie's Fund:

In partnership with PEDIGREE Foundation, Adopt a Pet, MuttNation, ASPCA, The Association for Animal Welfare Advancement, Mutual Rescue and Outcomes for Pets Consulting, Maddie’s Fund® is thrilled to announce the 2026 grantees of the $240,000 challenge, which aimed to reduce shelter length of stay...

1,629 adoptions in just nine months!

2026 has been an incredible year so far at Patty Baker Humane Society Naples and we have so much to celebrate!

In the first nine months of the year, we've reached some amazing milestones, including 1,629 adoptions, a 16% increase from last year! The median length of stay for dogs also dropped from 176 days to just 14 days in one year, plus so many more accomplishments!

But behind every number is a life changed, a second chance, and a family made whole. These milestones wouldn't be possible without our incredible staff, volunteers, fosters, adopters, donors, and the community that continues to support our mission.

In our latest blog, our CEO, Becca Morris, reflects on her first year, the progress we've made, and what's ahead for Patty Baker Humane Society Naples.

We're proud of how far we've come, but there's still so much more to do!
