We are excited to share that all adoption fees will be waived now through September 9. The waiver applies to all adoptable dogs, cats, and other small animals residing at our shelter.

There's nothing worse than seeing your pet stressed and anxious. Don't forget to lean into your tools. We have a lot of tips on our page to help make today a little better. Don't forget to get that CBD working in their system early!

Happy 4th of July from all of us at SNIP Collier! 🎆🇺🇸

As we celebrate America’s independence with fireworks, food, and fun, we ask that you don’t forget about our four-legged friends who might not enjoy the festivities quite as much. This is one of the busiest times of year for lost pets, and we want to help keep yours safe and sound. 🐶🐱💚

Here are some tips to help your pets feel secure this holiday:

🔹 Keep pets indoors – Even if they’re usually fine outside, fireworks can send them running out of fear.
🔹 Create a safe space – A quiet room with soft music or a fan can help muffle loud noises.
🔹 ID tags & microchips – Double-check that your pet’s collar and microchip info is up to date in case they do get out.
🔹 Exercise earlier in the day – A good walk or play session before the noise starts can help tire them out and reduce anxiety.
🔹 Avoid bringing pets to fireworks shows – Even the most well-behaved pets can panic in unfamiliar, loud settings.
