As we celebrate the season of gratitude and Giving Tuesday, our Board President, Kandra, has a heartfelt message to share 💙

“It’s been an honor to serve as Paws for a Cause Vet Care’s Board President. I’ve seen firsthand how your generosity keeps pets and their people together, especially when life gets tough. Earlier this year, a pet parent shared that she had to delay her cats’ spay and neuter due to unexpected expenses, but thanks to supporters like you, TJ and Reese still received the care they needed. Stories like hers are why this mission means so much.”

Can we count on you this Giving Tuesday, December 2nd, to help more pets like TJ and Reese receive the veterinary care they need?

With a generous anonymous donor matching all donations between now and December 2nd up to $1,200, Kandra is certainly making her gift, and she hopes you'll join her!

Microchips change lives, and today, they helped reunite one sweet cat with her family ❤️

Tux came to us for a scheduled spay surgery. But once she was in our care, we noticed her green-line tattoo, a sign she’d already been spayed. After a quick microchip scan, Tux already had a family who’d been missing her!

Because she was microchipped, we were able to reunite her with her owner and give this girl the happy ending she deserved!

Microchips bring families back together. They turn scary moments into stories of hope. If your pet isn’t chipped yet, this is your reminder!

We had the pleasure of welcoming Amber and Maggie to shadow our team as "Vet Techs for A Day"!

They showed their support during our Annual Pawction Fundraiser by bidding on this one-of-a-kind experience! From shadowing in our spay and neuter surgery suite, getting a behind-the-scenes look at a dental surgery, and exploring our wellness department, these two incredible animal lovers helped make our days extra special ❤

Thank you, Amber and Maggie, for spending the day learning, observing, and supporting our mission to keep pets healthy and happy!

As we celebrate this season of gratitude and the spirit of Giving Tuesday, our CEO and Founder, Kathi, has a meaningful message to share 💙

“To me, the holidays hold a special place in my heart, as they’re a time of gratitude, where I look back on what an incredible year it’s been. For those of you who visited or supported us for the first time this year, welcome! I couldn’t be more deeply grateful to have you as a part of this mission.

For those of you who've visited and supported us over the years, you may already know that so much has changed this year, including our name and location, all in pursuit of providing more critical vet services to more pets and families who need them. Thank you for helping us become a growing resource that our neighbors in need can always count on.

As we approach yet another year, energized to keep making a difference right here for pets and families around Chicagoland, we truly need your help to keep affordable care possible.

This season, we need your help to raise $20,000 to make veterinary care accessible and affordable for all. While Giving Tuesday is on Tuesday, December 2nd, right after the Thanksgiving holiday, we’re excited to share a very special opportunity to DOUBLE your impact for pets and families in need.

Starting today, thanks to an anonymous group of donors, all donations made will be matched up to $1,200.

I hope you’ll join me in making a matched Giving Tuesday gift so the next family can walk through our doors knowing their pet will receive the compassionate, high-quality care they deserve, without a price tag that breaks hearts.”
