Did you know that 1 in 3 pets will get lost at some point in their lifetime? A microchip can be their ticket home. 🏠✨
Microchipping is a safe, simple, and affordable way to protect your furry family members. If your pet gets lost, a microchip greatly increases the chance they'll be reunited with you.
Microchipping at Napa County Animal Shelter:
🐶 Dogs: $20
🐱 Cats: $15
🐰 Rabbits: $10
If your pet isn't chipped yet, now’s the perfect time!

Featured Shelter Pup: Cooper 🐾
We’re currently funding Cooper’s training through our new Behavioral Assistance Program at Ruff Pup Canine Academy. This specialized training helps dogs build confidence, improve behavior skills, and become even more ready for life with a loving family.
Donations to Friends of Napa County Animal Shelter help make Cooper’s training possible while he continues his search for a forever home. Your support ensures dogs like Cooper receive the guidance and care they need to succeed.

Thank you Ruff Pup Canine Academy for the Cooper updates. He is doing so well under your training and we are hopeful he will find his forever home!

Alright, back to our regularly scheduled posts 😄

Today we’re featuring Cooper, our adoptable Foster & Train pup from the Napa County Animal Shelter. Cooper is about 10 months old and has been doing so well with his training. We’re really proud of this boy. 🐾

He now loves going into his crate, sleeps quietly through the night, and we have had zero accidents in the house. His leash manners are coming along nicely, he’s starting to pick up on basic obedience using a lure, and he’s even doing great with the cats in our home.

Cooper is such a sweet pup who is learning quickly and gaining confidence each day.

Kitten season is almost here! After the long winter, when many cats enter their heat cycles, we prepare for the litter influx and look for individuals and families willing to foster.
