LOOKING FOR A GENTLE SOUL TO LOVE? MEET JOVIE 💝

Jovie’s starting to feel like herself again—thanks to her loving foster home. 💕 She’s now officially moved to Adoptable Dogs and ready to find her forever family! Here’s what makes this 4 1/2 year old girl so special…

🐾Jovie’s Background
Before coming into rescue following her owner’s passing, Jovie experienced several difficult transitions. Her person entered hospice care, her canine companion was rehomed, and she spent time isolated in a crate with only brief visits for feeding and bathroom breaks. Though she had been a much-loved dog, these sudden changes left her unsettled. Thankfully, caring individuals contacted Grateful Goldens to seek help. While Jovie was able to resume her medications for anxiety, her temporary family couldn’t fully meet her needs and made the difficult choice to place her in rescue, hoping to provide her with the stability and support she deserves.

🐾Home Environment
Jovie would thrive in a family that already has a friendly canine companion, offering her a playmate and a sense of belonging. A fenced yard is also beneficial, creating space for her to run, do zoomies, and play chase with her new dog friend.

🐾Family Routine and Companionship
Ideally, Jovie’s new family will have someone at home most of the time, as she can become anxious during thunderstorms and fireworks. Regular companionship will help her feel secure and supported.

🐾Exercise and Daily Activities
Jovie loves her treats, so regular exercise is important for her well-being. She enjoys attending daycare and neighborhood walks, provided there are no loose cats or chickens along the route. Jovie is comfortable on an Easy Walk harness, making walks pleasant and manageable.

🐾 Hello wonderful GGRLC friends, it’s me, Brody❗

I’m a 5-year-old Golden mix who came into rescue feeling scared, sick, and completely shut down. I had a severe case of heartworms and honestly… I was ready to give up.

But GGRLC saw something in me. With your love and generosity, they brought me into rescue and gave me a second chance at life. 💛 My foster moms Abby and Joan have taken such great care of me too! 💕

Friends, today’s heat is no joke. With soaring temps, high humidity, and a heavy dew point, the outdoors can be dangerous—for humans and especially for our beloved pets.

💧 Please limit outdoor time to short, safe trips. 🐶 Keep water bowls full and walks brief. 🏡 Make sure pets are indoors where it's cool and safe.

They count on us to keep them safe. Let’s make sure no paws get burned and no hearts overheated. ❤️
