💛🐾 Thunder & Puddle Are Still Searching… Could You Be Their Perfect Match? 🐾💛

We’ve met so many wonderful families over the past few weeks, and Thunder & Puddle have touched countless hearts — but their perfect forever home hasn’t revealed itself yet. We know it’s out there. We can feel it. And we’re ready to meet you.

These two gorgeous purebred Goldens are a deeply bonded pair who have come so far. After completing a 30‑day board‑and‑train, they’ve blossomed into loving, playful, loyal companions who are ready to thrive with a family that understands their personalities and celebrates their quirks.

🌟 Thunder (3½)
A sensitive sweetheart with a huge heart. He loves water, toys, car rides, and staying close to his people. He’s made tremendous progress with training and has a great off‑leash recall. Storms and vet visits can make him nervous, but he responds beautifully to reassurance and routine. He’s easy to medicate, loves bath time, and wants nothing more than to be someone’s loyal shadow.

🌟 Puddle (4½)
Independent, confident, and full of sunshine. She’s fantastic on leash, knows her commands, and her calm demeanor makes her a wonderful candidate for a family dog or even a therapy companion. She loves water, playtime, stuffed toys, and exploring. Off leash she’s not reliable — especially if she spots water — but on leash she’s a dream.

This summer, Poppy and Taylor reminded us why your kindness matters.

🐾 Poppy was born with a severe genetic defect. Because you said yes, she received lifesaving specialist care — $12,000 in treatment, with $3,550 already raised — and she’s getting stronger every day. 🤞

🐾 Taylor arrived scared, hurting, and heartworm positive. You gave her safety and healing. Her care has reached $3,000, and she’s finally healthy and ready for her forever home.

Thanks to you, 18 Goldens have already been helped this year — and 15 are adopted into loving families.

We’re thrilled to share that our 12th GGR Low Country Golden Retriever Meet Up is happening this Fall — and we have a brand new venue to celebrate at!
